A Chilly Saturday

This update just in from Pastor Ron of Medora Bible Church...

Despite the chilly and rainy weather, 128 children came through the CEF tent! Please pray for the 19 who professed Christ today. There were 5 repeats, 8 assurances, and 13 bibles given out.

Pastor Ron also mentioned that many people expressed appreciation for what they were doing. That was encouraging to hear.

Tuesday's Update

We had alot of help today. The morning was slower than the afternoon. At some points, we had 7 handpainting stations open! We kept busy with 169 total children. 15 repeats. Pray for the 28 children that professed Christ and for the 22 who received assurance. 30 Bibles were given out.

Being a part of this fair ministry was an incredible opportunity. We're equally encouraged to see our young people be able to share the gospel. While this takes us out of our comfort zone, we're looking forward to doing it again next year.

A storm moved in mid-afternoon and the tent was shut down for a while.

Those on the Frontlines today were:

Cool temps, a clown and lots of kids

The weather was very cool today. The morning was slow due to the temps being so cold.

Around 2:00 our clown arrived. Once that happened, we had all 8 stations open and could hardly keep up. Praise the Lord we didn't have to turn any away. There were 197 children total today. 15 professions. 31 assurances. There were alot of parents that listened in and they seemed excited about what we were doing. ~ Team Leader, Kristin Tillotson

Fair Begins!

Today (Friday), is the first day of the fair! When we arrived this morning, we learned that our tent had blown over and sustained minor injuries. With the help of some very generous fellow believers from Kansas Bible Camp, the tent was re-erected and deemed functional once again.

We had 71 children come through and hear the Gospel. Four young people prayed to receive Christ as their Savior. Eleven great volunteers helped staff the tent on Friday. Those on the frontlines today were Liz and Rachel Messer, Sarah Von Bergen, Michelle Dennis, Kristen Weddle, Rebecca Snow, Isaac Schurter, Chris Nicholson, Sarah Wagler, and Garrison Olds.

Thanks for praying ~ Tim Weddle, Team Coordinator
